In Transit (6 minutes, single channel HD video, 2014) evolved out of commission with the Indianapolis Airport Authority from 2013-2014. Two videos were created for their large video display over the escalators in the main airport terminal. This work is a more complex rendering of a video not selected by the airport of passengers and airport visitors rising up and going down the escalators to the baggage claim. Its somber mood reflects the polished beauty but also seeming endless loneliness of such grand architectural spaces modern airports create.
