Keuka (6 minutes, Single Channel Video, 2009) is an exercise in immersion and how looking closely at nature allows us to let go of our normal perception of time and space. It is filmed from a first person point of view and in essence an experience of exploring another world through the medium of water. As with other video works I have tried to create an entry point and exit point to the work. My hope is to have the viewer become aware of how their perception of time and space can change by interacting with the natural world.
